Our Story:
The Kansas Mens Baseball Association (KMBA for short) was founded in 2018 with the idea of creating an affordable, competitive and fun league for all skill levels. Since our inception, the league has grown from just a few teams to the largest 18+ Mens league in the Kansas City area and one of the biggest leagues in the entire Midwest. We offer two different divisions: Semi Pro and Mens League (see below for division descriptions). Each division is designed to cater to all types of baseball players. If you love to play and compete but also like to have fun, THE KMBA IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!
Divisions: Mens League Division: 18 years or older. Do you love the game and still have the competive spirit and appreciate ACTUAL baseball? Then this is the place for you! Whether you are playing just for fun or a little more serious, most skill levels can compete and all will have fun! A great way to relive the past while making new memories and friendships in a fun yet competitive atmosphere!
Federal League Divisions: 30 years or older. Are you itching to get back on the field after many years of downtime? The Federal League is designed for athletes who need want to rediscover their love of playing organized ball without fearing they can't keep up with high-level athletes. Teams in this league are comprised of players who range in age from 30 to 70. Pitching speeds top out at 60mph. Rules have been modified to ensure player safety is priority one and that teams are not full of young and overly-skilled players. The season is comprised of 15 games guaranteed , which are played each Sunday from mid-May through late-August at Johnson county 3&2.
Thursday Night League (New in 2025!): Ages 40 and up. The KMBA is proud to announce the formation of 3 weeknight divisions in 2025! The 40+ division will play all games on Thursday nights at Johnson County 3&2. Players in this division must be 40 years or older and the seasonw ill run from mid May - August. Games will be 7 innings and certain rules will be modified to ensure safety and fun for all players in this divisions. Sign up today!
Thursday Night League (New in 2025!): Ages 18 and older. This division will be similar in terms of competition, rules and format to our 18+ mens league divisions. All games will be played at Johnson County 3&2. This season will run from late April - August with an end of the season tournament to decide who is champion. Sign up today!
